Bobi bows for Good Lyfe, as Big Eye cancels launch

Bobi

Bobi

You will all agree with me that it is rare occurrence that a Ugandan singer appreciate another’s talent publicly. But Bobi Wine did put off his pips for the Good Lyfe duo of Mowzey and Weasle. On Tuesday, Bobi posted on his Facebook wall that left many music lovers wondering what had overcome the ghetto president.

“Uganda has always produced outstanding artistes over time, however in this generation, we are blessed to have another exclusively talented duo; RADIO AND WEASEL. Even those who do not like these boys cannot stand and say their music is not good. I am really proud of those CRAZY BOYS. The day will be 10th May, at Hotel Africana….I will be there and I’m sure u will too…..let’s love our industry and those that contribute to it,” read the post. He should be applauded if not given a pat on the back. And his appreciation is more inspiring than the attacks on Bebe Cool and Chameleoene!

In the meantime, artiste Big Eye, who was meant to hold his Already Booked album launch on the same day as Good Lyfe’s Obudde has cancelled his concert. In a post on his face book wall, Big Eye said he was cancelling his show because he has a lot going on in his personal life that will not let him concentrate on holding a good show.

“I humbly, sadly, with a lot of pain apologise to all my fans, friends, KCCA, the Lord Mayor plus all media houses that I’ve cancelled the ‘I’m already booked album launch’ due to the fact that I  have some serious personal problems which I can’t mention here, but cannot allow me concentrate on the concert yet I  have little time remaining…” read Big Eye’s post in part.
Great move if you asked me Big Eye!
