Highlights from recently concluded climate change march

Uganda’s little hands go green in partnership with NEMA, NFA and Riham last Saturday held a Climate Change March.

The March that took place in the city center attracted over 8000 school children together with their parents and teachers.

The March that was held ahead of this year’s Green Festival that will fall on September 1 was presided over by Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hon Jacob Oulanya.

Hon Oulanya urged Ugandans to recognize that planting even just one tree can contribute to saving of the environment. According to the Little Hands Go Green CEO Joseph Masembe, Little Hands Go Green pulled off one of the biggest Climate Change March in Africa.
