I’ll take care of Kawuma’s children, says Bobi

Bobi Wine has promised to take care of the family of Yasin Kawuma, his former driver who was killed on the eve of the violent Arua Municipality by-election that was won by Mr Kassiano Wadri.

While meeting Kawuma’s widows in Kiteezi, Lusanja in Wakiso District, the Kyadondo East MP, real name Robert Kyagulanyi said he is ready to take care of the family.

“I know that the family is undergoing difficulties. I will help with what I can but let us continue in the struggle,” he said.

The family thanked him for keeping his promise and visiting their home.

Mr Kyagulanyi also visited Mr Shaban Atiku, an aide of Mr Wadri, and Ms Night Asara at Mulago Hospital where’s they are receiving treatment following torture by security agencies the day when Kawuma was shot dead.

Asara sustained injuries following reported savage kicks from now suspended regional police commander Julius Musinguzi.
