Looks like celebration among the athletics fraternity and fans in Uganda is far from over.
As we are busy congratulating Joshua Cheptegei for making history by winning two gold medals at the ongoing 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games at the Carrara Stadium in the Gold Coast, boom! News coming in now indicates that there’s another reason to celebrate.

Renowned former steeplechase runner Dorcus Inzikuru has just been wedded.

Inzikuru who became the first Ugandan woman to win gold in steeplechase in the 2006 Commonwealth games in Melbourne got married on Saturday (April 14, 2018) at St Francis Chapel Makerere University.
Her wedding also comes just five days after Stella Chesang became the second ever Uganda champion in the women’s events after Inzikuru.

The three-time Uganda Sports Press Association (USPA) Personality of the year ( crowned in 2000, 2002 and 2005) now has a reason to smile too given the fact that she has found new love since the death of her estranged husband Bosco Acidri Martin.
Acidri succumbed to a combination of ailments that included, Severe anemia, Liver Serosis, portal hypertension and Hepatitis B in October 2013.
All we can say is congratulations on your wedding Inzi!!!
You’ve made us believe in True Love
