Many of you who have bought mixtapes or downloaded music must be familiar with the name DJ Simple Simon or Supremacy Sounds – yes, that is the guy. Well, we hear that DJ Roja and Slick Stuart might have to step aside because organisers of the Muchomo Festival are eyeing him for their event.
Now to bring you up to speed, DJ Simple Simon, real name Simon Nzau, is one of East Africa’s celebrated DJs. The Kenyan disc spinner has only been in Uganda once in 2014 when he performed at Venom Beach Bar to a full crowd. His coming is not yet confirmed but according to Club Twist, one of the event’s sponsors, there will be an official announcement when everything is set. Meaning for now, do not get your excitement levels too high.
