What had trended as mere speculations and rumors on social media about musician Edirisa Musuuza, alias Eddy Kenzo’s relationship with the National Youth Member of Parliament Phiona Nyamutoro can now be taken as gospel truth.
It is no longer a secret that the Uganda National Musicians Federation President and the new State Minister for Energy are in love after the musician confirmed the news himself.
For a couple of weeks, the two have been seen together in pictures hanging out and accompanying each other to different public places and functions with the most recent being at State House in Entebbe during the swearing ceremony of Nyamutoro as the Minister of State for Energy and Mineral Development (Minerals), something that caught the eye of public and left many wondering and asking more questions about the relationship between the two. Some of course, could not hesitate to say that the musician and politician are in love.
During his musical performance at Comedy Store on Eid Day in Lugogo, the excited Kenzo in attempt to clear the air and let the dust settle, confirmed that Nyamutoro is a mother to one of his children.
“I just wanna let you know that Hon Phiona Nyamutoro is my personal person and we have a kid together. I have also cleared the air on that,” Kenzo revealed enthusiastically, leaving the crowd in ululations and jubilations.
While appearing on BBS TV in February this year, Kenzo revealed that he was no longer single and that his two daughters; Maya and Amaal Musuuza were not his only children.
The Big Talent Entertainment boss mentioned that he has a son but did not want to spill further details about him, arguing that he no longer wanted his fans to know each and every detail about his family, a lesson he picked from his past relationships.
