Bebe Cool threatens to take legal action against telecom giant over data

Bebe Cool

Musician Bebe Cool is one of the artistes who spends a lot of time on the internet. Today the ‘Wakayima’ singer has come out and complained about the high internet rates by by telecom giants Airtel Uganda in a social media post.

According to Bebe Cool, he has been cheated by the giant telecom company and wants them to refund the unused data or he takes legal action.

The singer says he bought 22-GBs of data but 17GBs went only with a single click of Tik-Tok.

“Airtel_ug Buying 22-GBs of data at 21:56, only to receive an alert of 5GBs left & 17GBs gone with only a single click of Tik-Tok. Airtel I might afford another bundle but not at a cost of cheating me. I urge you to return my un-used data before 10am in the morning or else am instituting a legal action against you at your own cost & embarrassment,” he posted.

The ‘Only You’ artiste went on to share the messages he received from the telecom company after purchasing the monthly data and how much he was left with.

We are still waiting on the deadline to see what happens next.
