Warafiki
There is a new girl group in town and Fenon Records is behind it. The group, known as Warafiki, which is Swahili for ‘friends’, consists of three talented ladies; Tori, Eyla and Treezy.
Word we have is that as their first project under Fenon, they are releasing Bwekati with both the audio and video coming out at the same time today with Steve Jean as the main producer alongside Legend P and Joel Keys.
We have also learnt that before their unveiling, the trio have been working on several aspects, including vocal training at the label and this unveiling is a sign that they are ready for the market.
There are not so many girl groups in Uganda recently but if what Steve Jean was able to do with Blu *3 happens, then Warafiki’s music career is surely in safe hands.
