The annual Tugende Mukikadde event that happened at the weekend will be remembered this year as the most attended event at Kampala Serena Hotel but it will also go down for other reasons as well such as how the official MC forgot the name of one of the performers and an ambassador in the audience.
Usually at such events, the MC needs to be on top of his game. Knowing every performer, the songs they did and other related information about them. He/she also has to keep tabs on some influential people in the audience because they are the top spenders but after her performance, The Ebonies’ Dr Bbosa forgot Queen Florence’s name and called her a woman.
“Please give a hand clap for this woman,” he said as she walked off the stage. He then went on and gave a big thanks to the ambassador for attending but did not mention the name of the ambassador thrice, leaving the audience confused who he was referring to.
