Sauti Sol’s Bien has shed light on how the renowned boy band is gearing up for their final performance together before embarking on a temporary hiatus.

In a recent press conference held in conjunction with the announcement of their partnership with Coke Studio, Bien shared insights into their preparation for the highly-anticipated VIP show scheduled for November 4, 2023.

“We’ve already sold out the VIP tickets, and the regular ones are also selling out fast. I’m ecstatic about that. We’ve been practicing for two months, but, honestly, we’ve been preparing for this moment throughout our entire journey together.

Over all these years, we’ve been gearing up for our ultimate show. We’ve never prepared for a performance as diligently as this one. It’s essential to take a break. Our fans might have thought we were seeking clout, but we are too classic for clout,” Bien explained.

The award-winning Kenyan Boy band Sauti Sol celebrated 17 years together in December 2022.

The band was formed in 2005 and comprised vocalists Bien-Aimé Baraza, Willis Chimano, Savara Mudigi, and guitarist Polycarp Otieno.

Termed as “The Last Dance,” this show is designated as their farewell performance as a group before their hiatus. Coca-Cola is stepping in as the official soft drink partner for the festival, ensuring a refreshing and unforgettable experience for festival-goers.

The partnership with Coca-Cola is set to create a memorable event for music enthusiasts.

Isabelle Kariuki-Rostom, Coca-Cola’s Marketing Director for East and Central Africa, emphasized the company’s dedication to bringing unique music experiences to fans.

She said, “Passion fuels everything we do at Coca-Cola, and nothing gets people moving, celebrating, and enjoying life like live music does.

Music, just like sharing a Coca-Cola, brings people together, and when we mix them, it creates real magic.

Our goal for Coke Studio is to always be music-driven and fan-first by bringing unique music and music experiences to the forefront. We are thrilled to join forces with SolFest to share this experience with fans.”

SolFest, featuring the collaboration between Coke Studio and Coca-Cola, promises to be a transformative event, blending musical magic, refreshment, and fan interaction.
