There was tension at the iKon awards ceremony last weekend when the winner in the Best Actor category was announced. Not just because it was one of the biggest categories, but because it had both a father and son nominated. Michael Wawuyo Sr and Michael Wawuyo Jr were all nominees in this category but at the end of it all, Junior beat his father to the accolade.
Just like a supportive father, Wawuyo took to the microphone and called upon parents to always support their children in everything they do.
“Always let your children fly!” Michael Wawuyo Sr said, attracting a hug from his son.
