Miss Tourism heads to Malaysia to represent Uganda

Miss Tourism Uganda Sydney Nabulya Kavuma

Miss Tourism Uganda Sydney Nabulya Kavuma has headed to Malaysia where she will take part in the Miss Tourism International Pageant. The pageant happens every year and it has different tourism queens that represent their countries for the top title of Miss Tourism International.

After a virtual crowning that took place virtually in December 2021 and saw Jessy Wongsodiharjo from Indonesia taking the crown for Miss Tourism International, this year it will happen physically.

Many countries have sent their representatives to Sarawak where the Miss Tourism International grand finale will take place on November 25th.  50 countries have sent in their representatives for the pageant and Uganda is represented by Nabulya who was recently crowned Miss Tourism Uganda 2022/23.

The International pageant will this year celebrate 25 years of existence ever since the first Miss Tourism International event took place in Kuching. The pageant is run and owned by Malaysian company D’Touch International.
