DJ Slick Stuart and Roja’s Mixtape party falls on a Thursday

DJ Roja and SlickStuart

The only DJ duo in Uganda is that of Slick Stuart and Roja. The two DJs who have come a long way as co workers and good friends are set for another edition of their mixtape party. Each year, the duo has been organizing the mixtape party and this time round, the eighth seasons will take place at the Kampala Serena Hotel’s Victoria Hall.

The show unlike the past years will not take place over the weekend but rather towards the weekend. The Mixtape party after a break of two-year because of lockdown will take place on November 3, 2022.

The performances at the Mixtape party are always back to back with the DJ duo sharing stage with some artistes whom they always choose to perform. Their most recent edition took place at UMA hall in Lugogo with good event production and performances from various artistes. This time round, the duo has chosen a new venue which will mean a VIP show.

The Mixtape party first edition took place at Venom Beach bar formerly located on Triupati Mazima mall before heading to Laftaz Swimming pool for about three editions. The event then went to Golf Course hotel before UMA Hall in 2019 before the lockdown.
