Five months ago, we reported that Loukman Ali had his eyes set on Nollywood and would be joining Nigerian producer and entrepreneur Jade Obesiru and her production house GREOH Studios on the Brotherhood project. The crime-action thriller about twin brothers on opposite sides of the law features a fine blend of some of Nollywood’s most talented new faces alongside industry veterans such as Basketmouth, OC Ukeje, Sam Dede, Ronke Oshodi-Oke, Falz, Omawunmi, Tobi Bakre, Toni Tones, Jidekene Achufusi, Deyemi Okanlawon, Mercy Aigbe, Dorathy Bachor, Dianne Russet, Seyi Awolowo and Boma Akpofure.
And although we were excited for Loukman, word we have now is that the Girl in the Yellow Jumper director has jumped out of this deal due to creative differences.
Furthermore, he might also not get a directors’ credit at all on the movie that is scheduled to come out earlier next week.
