Moses Matovu has for more than 40 years been the face of Afrigo Band. Being one of Uganda’s oldest bands, by default, Matovu is a constant fixture and face of the local scene. He’s usually taunted as one of the most professional managers and performers.
Earlier this month, Matovu celebrated his 73 birthday and of course there were celebratory messages making rounds online. On Wednesday however, the Buganda Kingdom Prime Minister, Katikiro Charles Peter Mayiga jopined the rest of the world to celebrate Matovu. The eloquent leader also went on to appreciate the Afrigo Band front man for being professional and promoting talents.
