Rema Namakula admitted to being racially abused in Turkey recently. In a clip she shared on her social media platforms, she narrated her story saying that while at the Turkish airport, a kid who was in the company of her parents, looked at her and her crew and started crying.
When her parents asked what had happened, she pointed towards Rema’s direction and the parents responded with statements in which they called them “monkeys.”
The ‘Akafee Che’ artiste further added that she was looked at in a very unpleasant manner and the gestures on other people’s faces didn’t make matters any better.
