Video: Makerere students pelt Eddy Kenzo with bottles

There was chaos on Friday evening after revelers who had turned up for the Fresher’s Ball at Makerere University started throwing bottles at one of Uganda’s famous singers Eddy Kenzo.

According to a short video posted by one Rogers Atukunda, the BET Award winner was performing ‘Weekend’ song when revelers started pelting bottles from all corners. The reason behind this unfortunate incident remains unknown.

The concert was held at Freedom Square incident East African oldest university.

It is reported that a Guinness bottle aimed at Kenzo instead hit Fic Love, a member of his team, in the head. It took teargas and muscle power to evacuate the Semyekozo hit maker from the scene.

Eddy Kenzo is not the first Ugandan musician to be pelted with bottles while performing on stage.
