Isma Olaxess granted bail, asks OS to pay Shs1m bounty

The chairperson of the Uganda Blogger’s Association, Ibrahim Tusubira alias Ismail Olaxess was early Tuesday granted bail.

Isma, also known as Jajja Iculi was arrested by CID detectives  yesterday and transferred to Kitalya Prison.

Faced with charges of offensive communication and criminal libel amidst a cash price stake of shs1million by his pursuant, Omulangila Suuna- Olaxes had been on the run.

Immediately after his arrest, Isma told reporters that he is a law abiding citizen who had to answer for all his wrong doings.

He also asked Suuna aka OS to pay the Shs1million he promised to the young girl who found him after bathing.

Meantime, the three other Next Media entertainment reporters Isaac Kawalya Ssemulondo alias Kays, Bryan Kennedy Waako and Williams Makuliro who were last week remanded to Kitalya Prison will reappear in court October 15.

The four are accused of repeatedly attacking musician OS on television some few weeks back.
