We are still not sure whether events will be happening anytime soon but people from the West are thinking otherwise. While other beauty pageants are contemplating how to put on their events, the organisers of the Miss Greater Kitara beauty pageant are in high gear to see their event through next month.
They will hold a grand finale where they will be crowning the ‘Mini model’, ‘Mr’ and Miss. With activations happening, they need someone who will be representing Ankole, Kigezi, Tooro and Bunyoro and are specifically looking for someone with confidence and knowledge.
“We are holding this contest to promote unity, build confidence and promote culture among the people in the greater region,” said Brenda Kayitayirima, the vision bearer of Miss Greater Kitara regional beauty pageant. “Winners of this contest will walk away with Shs1 million each,” she added.
