With the lockdown easing up a bit in various parts of the world, the two largest convention for Ugandans in Diaspora are set in just weeks.

The annual convention organized by UNAA Causes will happen from September 2nd – 6th, on the United States of America Labor Day Weekend.

The event is scheduled to take place at the Uganda Festival & Expo at Fontainebleau Oceanfront Resort, Miami Beach. Musicians Cindy Sanyu, King Saha, David Lutalo and B2C have been lined up to perform. All these performers have confirmed through videos that they will be in Miami.

The rampant Covid-19 cases in Kampala forced the US Embassy in Kampala to temporarily suspend non – immigrant Visas to the USA until further notice.

In the past UNAA Causes has flown artists from Uganda to other Countries to get Visas. In 2016, when UNAA Causes could not get Visa appointments at the US Embassy in Kampala so they flew several artistes to Dar es Salaam to chase their visas from there.

Will they do the same this time or it will go for known African Music stars?
