People had a lot of time on their hands during the lockdown. Exercises, eating and drinking was the order of the day but not for Shadrack Kuteesa, GNL Zamba and Nisha Bridgette Ampurira who decided to enroll for a short online course for Connect For Culture.
This course lasted two months but from what we have learnt, it was only Bridgette who completed it. GNL and Shadrack opted out for reasons best known to them.
The course tackles the role of civil servants and government agencies in culture policy, the role of infrastructure for the culture industries, the importance of human and civil rights in advancing artistic freedom and more.
