I cannot open my skirt for any man other than my husband- Minister Anite

Minister of State for Privatisation and Investment, Evelyn Anite

Minister of State for Privatisation and Investment, Evelyn Anite, has in the recent past week been the buzzword in most of Kampala’s political talk. From kneeling before President Museveni and asking him to run for another term, to the UTL saga, you cannot help but notice Anite. Last week, a whistle blower petitioned the IGG asking for investigations into an alleged secret booking from US via France to Mauritius by Anite to meet investors who want to take over UTL.

In the said petition, the whistle blower seemed to allege that Anite is hooking up with several other men outside her marital relationship with her husband. Addressing the press on Monday morning, Anite dismissed the allegations, saying mafias are tarnishing her image by attaching her name to dubious relationships.

“I have my husband called Allan Kajik, I love him so much. I am hearing that they are going to be giving me these small small boys in town, saying that they are my husbands,” she said, adding; “My husband is the most handsome man, I chose him carefully, and I am not about to leave him. I don’t go opening my skirt fwah like some of them do.

“My husband is the most loving, the most caring as you know his chest. It is a comfort for me. What will I be looking for on those other men? They should just go hang,” she said. Responding to rumours that she takes nude photos, Anite said, “The only nude picture I have is with my husband and I am entitled to have nude pictures with him. Because he gave me a ring, I am supposed to be naked with him. Who said I am supposed to sleep with my husband dressed?”
