Emma Carlos speaks out on why he is constantly switching artistes

Emma Carlos has managed Wafagiyo, Dream Girls, Coco Finger and Khalifa Aganaga to mention a few but have you ever asked yourself why he keeps switching artistes.

Well, we got an answer for you as he explained why he does that last Saturday during the Setula’ programme that airs on Saturday morning at Radio 4.

Emma Carlos said that he gives himself a timeline of five years when managing artistes and beyond that, he says there is nothing more interesting.

“There is nothing more we can gain from each other after five years. I believe everything is exhausted within that period so it’s safe we part ways after those years,” Emma Carlos said.

It should however be remembered that with Goodlyf, it was just a year when he walked away but he says the death of Mowzey Radio was the main cause of his resignation.

Carlos also added that in order for the manager and artiste to work and stay together for long, they should have respect for each other but when that respect disappears, then the work relationship is as good as dead.
