Nigerian singer David Adedeji Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido yesterday said his flight was delayed, a reason he could not be in the country in time for the meet and greet as had been planned.

“Uganda I had some flight delays tonight and I couldn’t make it but I’ll be there in a few hours. We’re gonna light it up tomorrow at the Pearl of Africa Hotel! Baddest!,” the If singer tweeted.

He further shared a video confirming his 30 billion concert at Pearl of Africa Hotel in Kampala as revelers will be ushering in New Year.

“Uganda we’re on the way!” he chorused in the video clip shared on Whatsapp.

He’s expected to entertain Ugandans and other international guests from across the continent and other parts of the world who have embraced the show.

Davido will be entering the New Year 2019 in Kampala.

The Chairman of Pearl of African Hotel in Kampala Hamid Mohammed said Davido has confirmed the show and is using his private jet to land in Uganda.

“Very soon he will be in Uganda and all arrangements of picking him have been done.

And this time around let Ugandans expect something bigger from Davido and Pearl of African Hotel. Said Hamid.
