Faridah Ndausi wins acting accolade

She might have gotten off the scene when she decided to start acting in Nigeria but Faridah Ndausi has just made Uganda proud after she won an award at the Magic Lens African Film Academy Awards (MLAFA) in Nigeria.

The Ugandan actress, who has featured in a number of Nigerian movies won the Most Outstanding Actress at the second edition of the MLAFA that recently took place at the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Conference Center and Suites, on a glamorous night as Nollywood actor, producer and director, Charles Awurum honoured distinguished personalities who have contributed to the society.

“They threw me away, little did they know that am a seed I grew back even stronger. I went for one award, bringing back two thanks for those who believed in me. I got tired of talking I now use actions and I mean it when I say, the sky is the limit if u can dream it, u can achieve it” she posted on Facebook.

The annual awards are aimed at honouring distinguished Africans that have contributed immensely to the progress of the movie industry in Africa.
