Douglas Lwanga, is undoubtedly one of the best presenters on local TVs. He has made a name that is going to be hard to match by upcoming presenters. His show“The Beat” on NTV is one of the most viewed entertainment programmes but despite winning quite a number of awards locally, he had never been nominated outside Uganda.
But that is no more as the former Record TV presenter secured his first nomination in the 3rd edition of the African Entertainment Awards USA.
Douglas has been nominated in the category of Host of the Year along with 10 other top TV hosts from other African countries presenters including Hamisi Mandee, Mzazi Willy M Tuva VJ, Adams Adora Oleh, Joselyn Duma, Victor Hugo, Bonang Matheba, Daniel Nascimento, Young Oprah and The Humble Prince.
The awards are slated to take place on the October 21st in the US and Douglas will be flying out on the 18th of October.
