Sk Mbuga invites friends via Facebook for wedding

dsc_0635
When business SK Mbuga and his fiancé Vivienne Birungi announced to their fans that they would have week-long pre-wedding parties, before they finally tie the knot tomorrow, many thought it was one of those attention-seeking pranks usually made by socialites.
The couple has however proved their fans wrong and done everything as planned. The parties, which kicked off on Monday this week, were climaxed by one last night at Liquid Silk at Village Mall in Bugoloobi.

Not really a bachelor’s or bachelorette party, the couple called it a Kwanjula after party. Earlier in the day, Mbuga traveled all to Seguku at Vivienne Birungi’s home for an introduction ceremony. The couple thereafter joined their friends at Liquid Silk for the Kwanjula party, which went down till dawn.

Filled to capacity, entrance to the bar was open to everyone who wanted to be part of the event. Mbuga announced that everything including drinks and snacks were on the house. You know that is always good news to Ugandans, as they love to drink. What else would they do? They clapped to that as they cleared their pallets to drink the night away.

The two will walk down the aisle tomorrow, at Kibuli Mosque, at a ceremony officiated by Sheikh Muzaata. They will thereafter head for the reception at Kampala Serena Hotel’s Victoria Hall

Sylvia Owori is in charge of giving out invites to those that would like to attend the wedding. Mbuga says whoever needs to attend to contact Owori through her social media pages.
