BLACK LIPSTIP. Where and where not to wear the gothic look
Have you been wanting to try out something with your lip make up? Then you should probably try out the black lipstick.
Well, it may come off as gothic, and sometimes creepy, but this lip stick shade is actually very trendy and can be pulled off by any one, if worn carefully or with guidance from an expert.
To begin with, you need to know what places you can and cannot wear it to. The work place is a no go area, especially if you are working in an office setting.
Instead, you can wear the lipstick for a photo-shoot, a party, or even on the red carpet. For instance, if you are wearing a red velvet gown for a red carpet look, you can make the black lipstick your accessory, so as to make your look different. Since the lipstick is black, try matching it with other shades for your outfit. Red, green, and white are some of the colours that work well when matched with this lipstick.
Black lipstick can be a great way to create contrast with your face makeup. That means you will need to keep the rest of your makeup basic. Less eye shadow, eyeliner and mascara.
Opting for black lips will give off a gothic look, so only try this out if that is the actual look you intended to go for.
