Info on our desk indicates that just a few weeks down the road, she might be the cause of a breakup between another singer, Phina Masanyalaze, and her boyfriend Kenneth Muyiisa. A few days ago, one of Phina’s confidants revealed that Cindy was seeing her friend’s man.
Phina and Ken made tabloid headlines after the singer dumped promoter Emma Serugo and hooked up the youthful Ken, allegedly a South Africa-based soccer player. They have a child together.
But we learnt with shock that Ken has instead been spending some quality time with Cindy, considering that it’s not even two months since Cindy broke up with her baby daddy.
And when we asked, Cindy didn’t not even take a minute to think, she simply told us it’s true she is spending time with Ken.
“It’s true I know Ken. We met at the Equator Bar at Sheraton Kampala Hotel. He offered me a drink, it was in the night so I couldn’t recognise if he was a fellow musician’s man! He asked to meet me again at Auto Spa in Munyonyo and we have been spending some time together until I heard that he is Phina’s man,” Cindy said during an exclusive chat.She, however, didn’t not confirm whether she was having a relationship with Ken or they were just hanging out together.
On the other hand, during a visit to our sister media house Dembe FM on Tuesday, Phina told us that she is aware Cindy tried to tap her man. “She was trying to tap him and that’s it. He is taking her nowhere,” Phina vowed.
Cindy told us that Ken told her that he had broken up with Phina and he only talked to her because of their child. However, Phina simply laughed off Cindy’s allegations calling them bogus. “My home is intact. Me and my husband are intact, he explained and I understood, there’s no reason to worry!” Phina told us.
Although Ken fronts himself as a soccer player, reliable sources from South Africa indicate he is one of the sangomas. In fact Ken was in the company of self-styled Rich Gang that includes South Africa -based businessmen like Ivan Ssemwanga, Cheune and King Lawrence during their December holidays.
