Nyanda in duet with Ugandan artistes

NyandaLike we told you a few weeks ago, former Brick & Lace singer Nyanda is set to perform in Kampala on March 8.  She will be the headlining act at a Women’s Day Concert that will take place at the Garden City Rooftop.
The event, which is organised by Talent Africa, will be the launch of a global family planning and gender equality campaign dubbed “It Takes Two.”
Ahead of her arrival, a group of Ugandan artistes have already recorded a song with Nyanda.

Artistes including Baboon Forest’s GNL Zamba and Big Trill, Irene Ntale, Ray Signature and Maurice Hassa recorded and earlier this week released a song about youth’s social behavioural change. The song titled Your Ways advocates young people to live a positive life and make informed choices.
In the song, the artistes tackle issues like drug abuse, safe sex, cross generation sex, education and HIV.

Nyanda is an ambassador of Reach A Hand, an organisation responsible for the recording of this song under their campaign Get your mix out.
All the Uganda artistes on this song, are also cultural icons of Reach A hand Organisation.
The music video for the song has been shot, with Nyanda shooting her parts in Jamaica.
The video is due for release early next month when Nyanda jets in for the Women’s day concert.
