Ban makes Wolf of Wall Street movie more popular

The Wolf of wall streetSo the Uganda Media Council has banned TheWolf of Wall Street from showing at cinemas and also from being sold, exhibited or distributed in the country, saying that any violators shall be prosecuted.

Honestly we have seen worse, our homemade sex tapes, nude photos and extremely explicit series like Caligula. Is the anti-pornography bill already being implemented before it’s even passed into law? Yes Parliament passed it but the president has yet to sign it.

Personally, I think the cinemas are the ones affected here since Media Council regulates the film content they show to ensure that they conform to the national values but they will not stop anyone from watching the movie.

So how does Media Council plan to stop the distribution of this movie? Is it going to prosecute me for copying it to my laptop and later burn it for my colleagues? I believe not.

So yeah, by the look of things, a blackout has been declared on our favourite actors Leonardo DiCaprio, Matthew McConaughey, and Jonah Hill. But I believe this only applies to the cinema goers, who will watch the
