It’s now official, Meera Ruaparelia, the daughter of Uganda’s richest man was officially taken by Ravi Kotecha, son to another Kenyan rich family of Jagdish and Shyama Kotecha.
Meera and Ravi met in Winnipeg, Canada, more than two years ago.
Ravi and Meera’s wedding was held at two different functions – the civil wedding that was held on Thursday November 28 at an exclusive do with its reception at the glamorous Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hyde Park. This was strictly attended by family and extremely close friends that totaled to about 200 guests.
And on Saturday November 30, the couple at the even swankier London’s Grosvenor House, Park Lane, hosted over 900 guests from across the globe to a masquerade ball reception. Need we remind you that earlier this year, Sudhir warned that he had put more than Shs 5bn aside for his daughter’s wedding.
Not so many of us were able to attend, but we might not miss out totally! The latest is that Sudhir is planning a Hindi version of his daughter’s wedding at the Commonwealth Resort in Munyonyo on Valentine’s Day next year. And he says this will be the mother of all parties.
So for all of ‘us’ that are Sudhir’s friends; here is a chance to see Ravi and Meera wed, once again!
