Not so many corporates can even traverse downtown Kampala for an hour. But former MTN chief commercial officer Isaac Nsereko is not one of them.

The respected marketer who quit MTN Uganda sometime last year did not go around looking for his next job. According to a source, he went straight into strengthening his business! “He (Nsereko) had been importing garments and bags even when he was still working with MTN, but he decided to give the business 100 per cent when he left MTN. He currently trades under DT Bags,” the source explained.
The source adds that Nsereko regularly flies to China to purchase stock for his business that is located on Galiraya Plaza.

“He deals in all kinds of bags from school bags to ladies’ handbags and travelling bags,” he said. He also sells some bags branded under his business name DT Bags.
The source confirmed that Nsereko is currently one of the biggest; “if not the biggest” importer of bags in Uganda. All the best, Nsereko.
