If you love reggae music, kindly join me on this one “… it’s been a long long long long long long time, we no have no vibes like this, play the music again, yeah reggae music again..”
Yes, I am talking about Jamaican reggae star Glendale Goshia Gordon aka Busy Signal! The latest on our desk is that he is set to perform in Kampala sometime mid-year. According to reliable sources, local promoter Musa Kavuma of KT promotions contacted Busy Signal’s management and the two parties are in final stages of inking a concrete agreement.
Busy Signal, who was released from a US prison last November is responsible for hits like One More night, Night shift, Missing You, Reggae Music Again and his latest Bedroom Bully, which is a remix of Shaba Ranks’ I090s popular Bedroom Bully hit.
Busy Signal pled guilty to a charge of absconding bail when he appeared in a Minnesota court on July 19, 2012. It is alleged that Busy Signal jumped his bail in 2002 ahead of a narcotics trial and fled to Jamaica.
According to sources close to Kavuma, Busy Singal’s show is being planned for some time in June. We will keep you posted about the date and the venue.
