Bebe’s son joins soccer academy … but in Uganda

A  few years ago, singer Bebe Cool made headlines after he revealed that he was set to take his son Alpha Thierry to the Arsenal football academy in the UK at the age of five. However, Alpha is nearing his 10th  birthday before he can go to Arsenal, but all is not lost for lad. Alpha recently started playing soccer at Kabojja Junior School where he is currently studying. The teachers say, Alpha is quite impressive on the pitch.

Zuena, Alpha’s mother told us that her son is so obsessed with soccer in that he doesn’t even find any hardship in washing his boots and jerseys! “He loves football. I keep fighting with him to stop practicing in his room because baby Caysan can’t sleep when the ball is bouncing on the floor,” Zuena added.

Maybe he will be allowed into the Arsenal academy if he proves to be really good, afterall football is in the family’s genes. Alpha’s grandfather Mzee Bidandi Ssali was a manager for the Uganda Cranes in the 70s and even Bebe Cool is a good football though he only plays for leisure.
