South Africa-based Ugandan artiste Annie Marion Najjemba, 25, the voice behind hits like Valentine and Kakwekumire is planning a mega comeback to Kampala after a few years in Madiba’s land. Marion has been acting with a group Moon and Earth but she is back for the Christmas holiday and she wants to begin where she stopped.
She is in the studio working on new music for the Ugandan audience but she is tight-lipped about her projects. “Just wait and hear the music. Uganda is full of pirates who can copy, spoil and release their versions of my songs if I told you about them.” We are sure people with kwanjulas and weddings can’t wait for her new releases as her music was a main-stay at such functions.
