Good Lyfe fall out with Hi Table bar

Until two weeks ago, Hi Table Bar along Kampala Road was the known base for the Good Lyfe musicians singers Mowzey and Weasle! The artistes graced the hangout for the Good Lyfe night every Monday for the past four years. But the singers’ relationship with the bar owner Simon Rusoke aka Simo went to the rocks two weeks ago.

According to a source close to Simo, the singing duo was not the problem; “but it was their manager Jeff Kiwanuka; who was too demanding and always spread bad blood between Simo and the singers if Simo turned down his demands” the source told us said.

The source further revealed that Jeff  went as far as demanding that some people be banned from the hangout; “he told the bar owner to ban Straka, Eddie Kenzo, Bebe Cool, Chameleone and so many other celebrities from the bar.”

However, sources from Good Lyfe indicated that the singers just felt like moving on; “neither Mowzey nor Weasle owned that bar, so at one time they had to move on. The singers were no longer respected by management. The management of the bar had at several times faulted on the terms of their relationship with the singers and they couldn’t take it anymore.” The Good Lyfe singers have in the past fallen out with Ange Noir and Club Rouge!
