Like KFM presenter Freddie Sakura, one of the hosts of the recently concluded Demarco and Wayne Wonder KFM concert, said; Jamaica is taking over the music scene in Uganda. News just in indicates that we should brace ourselves for more Jamaican acts.
According to reliable sources, singer Garfield Spence aka Konshens will be performing live in Kampala come Friday October 5. Konshens, currently the hottest artiste in Jamaica, is famous for songs like Realest Song, Winner, Rasta Impostor, This Means Money, Good Girl Gone Bad, Gal Dem A Talk, Represent, Do Sumn, Forward and Gal a Bubble.
A month after Konshens, Sean Paul is also expected to return to Kampala for a show that will be sponsored by Nile Breweries. According to sources from NBL, all necessary documents were finalised and Sean Paul will be live in concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval on November 9. We can’t wait.
