Allan Sekiranda, Uganda’s male contestant on Tusker Project Fame, faces a daunting weekend after he was put on probation for the second week running.
Sekiranda survived eviction by a whisker on Saturday after being saved by his fellow contestants who seemed to concur with the Academy’s music director RKay that the Ugandan could have failed to give his best on stage due to a week-long flu infection.
But he failed to improve from last week and he once again ended up on the wrong side of things after judges found his performance of Chris Brown’s song She Ain’t You wanting.
He was clearly singing off-key and Judge Juliana Kanyomozi was honest with him on that note.
The other contestants on probation are Tanzania’s Damian Mihayo, Kenya’s Eunice Guttu, Fatuma Muhonza from Rwanda and Nancy Chan of South Sudan. To give Sekiranda another chance, send Tusker5 to 8009 and voting closes tomorrow 6am.
