Mixed prints for men: Most fashion conscious men are very daring men, so this is probably one trend they won’t be afraid to try out. But if you have reservations, there is a way to rock this look in a subtle way.
It is always refreshing to see a man attempt to wear even one piece with bold print. So I am sure you can imagine the joy a mixed printed look can bring. And in case you have been dying to try out the print, but unsure of where to wear it, this Sunday at the Blankets and Wine event is the perfect opportunity. So how does one get all this busy factor on without looking clumsy? Worry not, we have got your back.
For starters, this look is a fun look that deserves an equally fun surrounding for the slay. So keep your double printed looks for an outdoor event or activity.
The key element with this trend is to balance out your prints on your outfit. It would be wise to keep one of the prints more elaborate than the other. For instance, you can add a floral shirt to your pin-striped pair of shorts. In this case, the floral is more elaborate, as compared to the pinstripes.
Alternatively, you could have your Ankara printed pants paired with a small polka dots detailed shirt.
And there is no rule restricting you to only three prints. If you are the daring kind, then go as wild as your creativity can take you. Three prints in one look perhaps?
You may also want to keep the colour element of your outfit pieces in mind, because you do not want to end up with a look that is uncoordinated.
When it comes to the accessories, keep them as minimal as possible. A pair of sunglasses, neutral loafer slippers and a wrist watch are all you need.
Nailing a mixed print look is not as complex as it sounds. At the end of the day, you should be setting the trends. So come up with your own prints match, and who knows, you could be on your way to being a certified trendsetter.
