About two months ago, rapper Keko went to her Twitter account and posted that it was time for her to step aside from the music industry after close to seven years of dominance. Her statement raised eyebrows, with many claiming that it was a strategy for her to get some media publicity but whether that was the case or not, Keko is giving us more reason to talk. The Make You Dance singer made a U-turn on her earlier decisions, claiming that her statement then was based on what she thought at the time. “When I posted that I was quitting music on my Twitter account, I really meant it because it is what I thought at the time but I later realised that it was a wrong move,” Keko told us.
To further confirm that quitting music was just a crazy idea that crossed her mind, the artiste is releasing her mixtape titled ‘Love From Venus’ on June 2 at GattoMatto, which will also double as a silent disco night featuring top DJs and artistes.
