President Yoweri Museveni in his just concluded address on covid-19 TO the nation said that the entertainment industry is going to fully operate two weeks after schools have resumed. With that announcement, Swangz Avenue announced the return of Roast & Rhyme.
The upscale lakeside picnic event will be returning on February 27, 2022, at the usual home Jahazi Pier. Like the previous editions, the event will be characterised by performances but the experience is what everyone should look out for.
Roast and Rhyme was one of the last major social events in February 2020 before the global lockdowns took effect. During the lockdown, however, the Bell-sponsored event held an exclusive weekend-long Game Park experience in December of the same year in Murchison Game Park.
Swangz Avenue, the organizers of the event haven’t released more details on the event yet.
