Michael Ross deserved that stage more than anyone else- Maurice Kirya

Michael Ross Kakooza

Soul and RnB singer Maurice Kirya says that having grown up with Michael Ross, he totally understands what it meant to the artist, to jump on stage during Ginuwine’s performance last Saturday.

In a post on his Facebook page, Kirya said Ross is a star that tells Uganda’s story of resilience.

“When I was younger, Myko and I would meet at my mother’s house and practice dancing, I wasted so much time before I realized my dancing sucked, but Myko?… he had the gift, he emulated Ginuwine to the dot and would even un-button his shirt to reveal his skinny chest and six packs to screaming adoring fans, he was our own Ginuwine, our own usher, our Michael Jackson!!”

“He dwelled into the world of dance un-apologetically, we embraced him, we got so close to him before he realised he let us get too close to him!” Kirya said.

Having performed on the same stage that day, Kirya further added that Rose deserved the stage better than anyone else.

“I praise him now, because its on days like this when he needs his true friends, and true fans! Michael Ross Forever!”

A big question however is, “If Michael deserved that stage better than anyone else, was jumping on the stage called for?”

During the Jazz Safari concert that featured Ginuwine, Michael Ross from nowhere jumped on stage as the American musician was singing. Michael Ross started breaking dancing but before some people could even notice his presence, two bouncers muscled him off the stage and threw him back down.
