Maddox to record first ever collabo

Maddox Ssematimba on stage

When two great artistes come together on a project, rest assured it will be magic. The latest we have heard is that Maddox Ssematimba will not only be sharing a stage with Jamaican musician Tarrus Riley, but he’s also slated to record a song with him, before the show.

The Ugandan musician has taken ages without recording a song and has been surviving on those he recorded over 15 years ago. His reason is that no Ugandan studio can produce the way he wants. A song with Riley who is believed to be one of the great musicians from Jamaica is certainly worth waiting for.

“Tarrus Riley was extremely impressed by Maddox’s deep reggae beats; he said it would be nice for the two of them to work on something together,” the source from Bolt Digital, a company behind the show in on December 1st confirmed.

Tarrus Riley is famed for tracks like Sorry is a sorry wordShe’s royalGimme likkle one drop and lately Just the way you are while Maddox is the man behind jams like NamagembeAbaatoEasyIrene and Omuyimbi among others.

Namagembe is Maddox’s masterpiece composition. It’s video came out last, ten years after the song hit the airwaves.
