The lineup of actors is impressive for the genre of the movie – comedy. What’s more is that they are coupled up to tickle you. Director Tim Story who is a both film and music video director, whose works include First Sunday, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Taxi and Barbershop among others, directs this one too.
It’s a love story about four couples who are followed and each of the ladies in the movie is a fan of comedian Steve Harvey’s Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man. And it is not long before the men find out about their women’s new found love. So when they discover their women are hooked on Harvey’s advice, they try to turn the tables on their mates, which later seems to backfire.
The movie is actually based on a best-selling book by Steve Harvey which also follows four interconnected and diverse men whose love lives are shaken up.
