In times like these one would be happy when they can get a helping hand. The covid-19 pandemic led to a second lockdown which has left many stuck at home with not much to eat.
Bishop Arnold Muwonge who is currently in the UK because of the Covid-19 travel restrictions through his foundation the NDE has given a helping hand to some families to get through these trying times. 100 families in Nabweru, Nansana Municipality yesterday received food and household items as Covid-19 relief aid from the Bishop.
The man of God deligated celebrated comedian Mariachi to deliver the foodstuff to the vulnerable community of Nabweru. Among items delivered were Rice, posho, sugar, sanitary Pads, Soap among others.
In his own words, Bishop Muwonge reveals that he is dedicated to reaching out to the young less privileged children through the home he put in Wakiso. This gesture comes at a perfect time when basic needs are not as affordable as usually due to the pandemic.
