Highball Tour kicks off in Mbale

Kampala is not the only place with good artistes, we have witnessed that through artistes like Lady Mariam of the ‘Tindatine’ fame, Latinum and Ray G all from the western part of Uganda but Mbale town also has some artistes it prides itself in and we are talking about Titus Vybz and Byg Ben.

The two artistes are arguably Mbale’s biggest besides Cindy who decided to settle in Kampala. They put up an impressive performance which saw the crowd singing along to their songs and cheering them on last night at the El Tanjia bar and restaurant during the kickoff of the Highball tour.

Titus and Byg Ben were among the supporting acts at the event that had Pallaso and Fik Fameica as the headlining artistes. By the time each one left the stage, the audience was shouting “we want more”.

Uganda was officially introduced to the Johnnie Walker Highball; a drink that entails signature cocktails served in a highball glass during a press launch at Sky Lounge in Kisementi a couple of months back

The campaign is aimed at changing people’s perceptions about whisky appreciation, from just the neat serves in the short whisky glasses that they are used to, to new ways of enjoying their highball cocktails.

The tour will visit trendy bars in Fort Portal, Gulu, Mbarara and Masaka.
