The former Blu *3 member is now known as “King herself” and she explained that the alias came about because she believes she’s the dancehall king.
When asked why she would name herself dancehall king instead of queen, the musician said: “Having been in the industry for more than 10 years, I needed something strong for my pseudo name. We have artistes who have been in the game for three years naming themselves dancehall queens and other names but with king, it means I’m the best at it,” she said. The musician said this while at one of the radio stations this morning.
