Hellen Lukoma nominated in movie awards

Hellen Lukoma

By now we can all accept that Hellen Lukoma’s music career might never kick off. And being the certified hustler that she is, we can give her credit as an actress – girl tries bambi. Lukoma’s acting is good enough that as we write this, she is currently the only Ugandan to be nominated in the Colombian Movie Awards, also known as Rolda Web Fest. Lukoma whose acting came to light during the Hostel TV series, received two nods in the Best Short Film actress as well as the Best Message of webseries or short film. In the first category, Lukoma will be battling it out with Jamie Bouwmeester from Netherlands, Nina Rakovec from Slovenia, Marina Gera from Hungary and Vanessa Sandre from Brazil as well as Portugal’s Ines Heedia while in the second category she is lined up against movies such as Livre from Portugal, The real Cost of Coal and The Dog from Russia.
The movie responsible for Hellen Lukoma’s nomination is Time Irreversible. The main event is slated to happen from July 27 to July 29 in Roldanillo, Colombia. All the best Hellen!
