Often when it is not a concert, artistes will rarely carry a band to perform with. But last weekend was different when singer Chameleone carried the Solid Band all the way from Kampala to Arua for the Club MegaFest in Arua. The Wale Wale singer was among the 10 artistes set to perform at the event and he insisted performing with a live band as one of the conditions.
It was the first time the band was travelling to play at an upcountry gig because they are mainly based in and around Kampala where they specifically play for artistes at their concerts. It is not the first time the singer is insisting on performing with a live band as other artistes perform on CD.
The singer did not have a concert last year so who knows, maybe the dude is rehearsing for his ‘The Legend’ concert this year at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
